About me

Let’s cut through the noise

I write a political blog that unravels the spin with unapologetic honesty. As a bilingual Quebecer with a conservative perspective, I’ve spent my life straddling linguistic and cultural divides, honing my ability to see through rhetoric and recognize the realities often glossed over by mainstream discourse. I bridge the gap between cultures and conversations that rarely meet.

But be warned, this is not your grandfather’s conservatism

Efficient governance, fiscal responsibility, and empowering individuals through strength rather than dependence. That’s what I stand for. But somewhere along the way, modern conservatism became a muddled caricature, distorted by clichés and complacency.

I’m here to reclaim and redefine it. Not with empty platitudes or tired slogans, but with a commitment to self-determination, accountability, and clarity of purpose.

Conventional wisdom says keep your head down, cater to the crowd, and don’t rock the boat. But when did “wisdom” become synonymous with playing it safe?

Why I write

Because someone needs to say what everyone’s thinking but no one dares to say. Because the political conversation is increasingly driven by outrage and emotional manipulation instead of principles and facts. Because speaking the truth is the only way to preserve it.

You won’t always agree with me. But you won’t walk away bored.

Join the conversation

This blog is about cutting through ideological fluff and challenging narratives that no one else will. Whether I’m writing about federal politics, Quebec’s political landscape, or broader cultural questions, the goal is always the same: to speak plainly, critically, and truthfully.

Consider this your invitation. Sign up for my newsletter and be the first to know when I publish something new. Whether you’re here to cheer me on, challenge me, or quietly fume over your morning coffee, you’re welcome. As long as you value authenticity and the courage to speak bluntly, you’re in the right place.

Because if you don’t speak your mind, someone else will do it for you.
